NOTE: These videos were authored for display on 10 foot tall screens. Each video played simultaneously on a different screen as part of a trade show display for Upshop, a comprehensive suite of tools to manage a grocery store chaiin.

NOTE: The project was a studio promo animated short intended to achieve Western CGI production values for the local market. It was fully pre-visualized and animated in 3-D then AI was used as style transfer to create the final render based on a single fully realized frame with 3d fur groomed and full geometry foliage with volumetric light in the background. This was a vast time savings because the single frame took an hour to render.

NOTE: I was inspired to do this by my work on a pitch for a 3-D VFX film version of Wind in the Willows, that was made for Spiderman franchise director Jon Watts using traditional CGI. This literally took hours instead of weeks for the pitch that we made back in the day, which was also not nearly as dynamic.

NOTE: This is the third version of this project, using the same basic imagery, but regenerating it with the latest technology to improve the visual quality. The idea is that AI is coming to save us instead of kill us. The original images were generated in 2022 with locally run Stable Diffusion. I have continued to use the original primitive generations as the style reference for the subsequent versions. Creating twin characters whenever the frame has a horizontal aspect ratio was a very common error with the early AI, but I decided to run with it and make it be a motif in the piece.

NOTE: This is a test render for a project that was rendered in 360° panoramic perspective at 12,000 pixel horizontal resolution split seamlessly between four 4k videos, for display on the world’s first 360 LED video wall room, at the headquarters of Burns & McDonnell, a multi-billion dollar engineering and commercial architecture company with 13,000+ employees.

NOTE: This project was an experiment in 100% vibe filmmaking and AI editing capability within Google’s Flow AI ecosystem. with no real photo references used at any stage. I was mainly interested in simulating an LED wall with a car. As a former Porsche owner / car nerd, believe me I notice every inaccuracy here. For a real commerctial project final frame render I would definitely use reference for each angle to ensure accuracy and consistency, but this is just about vibes.

NOTE: Trailer for Neon Destruction season 1. Neon destruction is a Sci-Fi animated series that was released in 10 weekly mini-webisodes in early 2024. It investigates serious questions about society and human nature under the guise of low brow entertainment. The editing and post uses traditional live action/VFX filmmaking techniques. The show is aimed at Autistic 13-17 year olds. The AI Slopera is a new genre which I invented for this project. The narrative embraces the chaos and sloppiness of early AI video generations as a punk rock Lo Fi experiment
